Organization structure of USU as a Legal Enterprise consists of :

The Board of Trustees, The Board of Auditor, Commercial Ventures, The Academic Senate, The Executive Board ( Rector and Vice Rector), The Council of Professor, Executive Secretary, Internal Auditor Unit and Quality Assurance Unit (main organization). 

Faculties, Postgraduate School, and Institute of Research and Community Services  (academic units).

Academic Bureau, Human Resource Bureau, Financial Bureau, Students and Alumnae Bureau, Planning and Cooperation Bureau, and Development and Facility Maintenance (administrative bureaus), and

Library and Information System, Services and Development of Education, Non Commercial Ventures and Procurement Unit (supporting units).

Mission

1. preparing students to become morally society's members with academic and/or professional and/or vocational capability to apply, develop, and enrich science, technology and art, and with high competitive advantage.
2. developing and disseminating science, technology, and art, particularly on industrial based cooperation, as well as developing its applications to improve society's prosperity and enrich the national culture;
3. supporting democratic civil society development through the role of USU as an autonomy moral force  to achieve strong capability in global competitive environment through managing professionally human resources, widening participation in learning, inspiring national demand for learning, and modernizing the supply of learning.

Aims

1. Widening the participation of education services for the society to support the need of national demand for learning and to modernize the method of study.
2. To enhance the active participation to enrich science, technology and national culture and arts as well as humanity.
3. To enhance the information and communication technology system as well as a reliable quality assurance system.
4. To establish an effective, efficient and democratic system of University governance.
5. To establish a convenient learning and teaching environment.
6. To enhance discipline management between department and/or program.
7. To develop an ability for self funding by building cooperation with business industries.
8. To develop an ability to market scientific products, concepts, industrial problem solving, consultants, etc.
9. To develop new approaches in learning method which focus on demand-driven learning system.
